A Compliment, Then the Same Assignment
A nurse asks to swap assignments. Her senior has a compliment ready.

English dialogue
Bed bath, then a hair wash
A nurse is helping an older patient. The original scene notes that the patient has mild dementia.
Patient: “The towel is lukewarm.”
Patient: “Wash this part a little more.”
At the nurses’ station
Nurse: “Could someone else take this assignment tomorrow?”
Senior nurse: “But she likes you so much!”
The next morning
The assignment sheet has the same nurse’s name on it again.
Senior nurse: “You’ve got her again today. I know I can count on you!”
Drying the patient’s hair
Patient: “It’s still not dry.”
Patient: “There’s a tangle here.”
Nurse, thinking: “It’s my labor they like.”
An original fictional workplace story, not a clinical case or care guide. English dialogue and scene notes accompany the Japanese artwork; small worksheet details are not translated.
